Key Features
The St. Mary/St. Monica Professional Learning
School is a school where relational work is
clearly visible. Students, teachers, parents and
administrators are active learners, working in
relationship with one another to explore new
thinking, positive change, innovation and
"Leading Practices" in teaching and learning.
One school, two campuses. This unique
organizational design enhances the learning
opportunities for children in kindergarten -
grade 6.
St. Monica Campus is an Early Learning Centre
where we weave our tales of wonder, create a
place and space to dream and to believe in our
hearts...all that is beautiful for children K/1.
St. Mary Campus is a Grade 2 - 6 learning
community where personal academic success
is encouraged and achieved.
A partnership with the University
of Alberta and
Concordia University College through teacher education and
research plays a significant role in our work with children.
The foundation for all experiences takes place
in a Christ-centred environment where our
Catholic faith is celebrated - "We are Christ for
one another."
