Location

Elementary serves the Parkdale Cromdale area. Junior high serves the Boyle Street and McCauley area.

Our Mission

The St. Alphonsus community upholds the sacred responsibility to provide the greatest spiritual learning environment through embracing the holistic growth and development of each individual student to enable a journey that inspires constant growth in core values, academic learning, physical and mental health and service toward God in one another.

Our School Goal

All students K-9 will improve their instructional reading and reading comprehension level by at least one grade from September to May.

Core Focus

The teaching of motivational and interactive reading comprehension skills is a school wide focus (K-9) to assist with the facilitation of student success in curricular skills, knowledge and attributes.

Ever-Active Leadership Team; "Guy Power" Group; "Girl Power" Group; "Power Patrol" - Social Skills; Homework Club; Inter-school sports program including: Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Track and Field, Curling; Educational athletic field trips; Christian Service Program; Choir, Dance and Band concerts; St. Al’s Live Fine Arts Production; Clubs: Library, Art, Computer, Music, Technology, Drama, Choir, Intramurals; Tribal Council Student Leadership

A unique opportunity for children and their families to engage in a faith journey from Kindergarten through to Grade Nine.
