Location
John Paul 1 is located on 38 Avenue and 56 Street
and serves the Mill Woods communities of Woodvale,
Youville, Michael's Park and Lee Ridge.

Our Mission
The staff of John Paul 1 Catholic School make a sincere attempt to provide the necessary tools to enable each child to reach his/her potential. We endeavour to present our program in harmony with the following creed: "We believe in living in the Spirit of the Lord Jesus who is the very life and heartbeat of our community of faith, providing the opportunity for holistic growth in a safe and caring environment in which we respect and honor the uniqueness and dignity of each individual, nurturing and celebrating the potential of the human spirit in our journey of lifelong learning."
Extracurricular Activities
Field trips for all grade levels (i.e. skiing, bowling, swimming, Museum, Telus World of Science) Christmas Concert or Family Christmas Night, Spring Fling, Religious Celebrations, and Grade 6 overnight camping trip. As part of a Service Program, students from Grade 5 volunteer as lunch monitors and students from Grade 6 serve as Patrollers. Clubs include Computer Club, Running Club, Dance Club and Intramurals.
