Location

We serve the communities of Mill Woods, Ritchie, Bonnie Doon, Ottewell, Hazeldean, Pleasantview, Twin Brooks, Riverbend and Blackmud Creek.

École J.H. Picard School is the only Catholic Educational Centre in Western Canada committed to providing quality education in French Immersion from Kindergarten to grade 12. Our students graduate with a bilingual diploma. We also believe in fostering a strong community. Five time winners of Pack the House. Participants in Jump Rope for Heart, WIN House, Cuts for Cancer, Hope Foundation, Development and Peace and Youth Emergency Shelter have resulted in donations for these social justice initiatives.

Our Mission

École J.H. Picard School is the only Catholic Educational Centre in Western Canada committed to providing quality education in French Immersion from Kindergarten to grade 12. Our students graduate with a bilingual diploma. We also believe in fostering a strong community. Five time winners of Pack the House. Participants in Jump Rope for Heart, WIN House, Cuts for Cancer, Hope Foundation, Development and Peace and Youth Emergency Shelter have resulted in collecting over $15,000 for these social justice initiatives, last year alone.

Extracurricular Activities

We have a full and complete range of extracurricular sports from grades 7 to 12. This includes both boys' and girls' teams. The main sports are volleyball, basketball, soccer, track and field, badminton and cross-country running. We have an outstanding Student Council for grades 7-12, Honour Band, Annual Fashion Show and yearly Drama Presentations.
