Consultants provide leadership and support to schools in the delivery of programs and services mandated by Alberta Education from an Aboriginal perspective. Consultants work closely with elders in respect to protocol, cultural teachings and must be able to integrate their knowledge with Catholic teachings. The Aboriginal Educational Consultants are guided by the goals set forth by Alberta Education, Edmonton Catholic School district and the Alberta program of studies.
