Cases In AlbertaAlberta Health and Wellness is now posting only the number of pandemic H1N1 influenza hospitalized cases and deaths on Tuesdays and Fridays of every week, effective December 1, 2009, excluding Holidays. For PHAC influenza surveillance (national) information, visit the FluWatch website.Total Number of hospitalized confirmed cases of pandemic H1N1 influenza since April 2009 to January 22, 2010.

The total number of deaths includes those who die from H1N1 and those who die from other causes and also tested positive for H1N1 H1N1 Immunizations - Doses AdministeredAs of January 9, approximately 1.25 million doses of the H1N1 vaccine have been administered to Albertans.
Deaths Associated with H1N1 Flu Virus in CanadaThe Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) is committed to sharing information about the impact of the H1N1 flu virus in Canada. Every Tuesday and Thursday at 4 p.m., the Agency will issue national updates on H1N1-associated deaths. In addition, PHAC will issue special reports on any unusual cases or clusters.
