Program Overview The twentieth century has been dominated by interactions among nations. These nations are organized into different political and economic systems. This course focuses on the major political and economic systems of the world today. We will examine these ideologies and the interaction (both conflict and cooperation) of various states in the Twentieth Century. World peace and security depend on limiting confrontations and increasing cooperation and understanding. This diploma level course is the third and final course of a program designed for students intending to pursue further academic studies at the university level, it is comprised of two major topics of study:
