Program Overview Mathematics 30P is part of the newly designed Western Canada protocol for Mathematics, it is the final course of a three course sequence leading to a diploma exam which is eligible for University entrance requirements. Mathematics 30P topics include mathematics of finance, quadratic functions, polynomial and rational functions, analysis of equations and inequalities, systems of equations, properties of circles, deductive reasoning, mathematical proofs, and geometry of circles. The emphasis will be on developing skills that will be needed in order to take calculus and to pursue postsecondary studies in sciences, engineering, business and some technologies. Prerequisites
