Joint Use Agreement Program - Sub-Committees

The Land Management Committee is responsible for the implementation of the Joint Use Agreement: Land. The roles and responsibilities of this committee include:

• Actively implement the acquisition, development, maintenance and surplussing of Joint Use Sites as outlined in the Agreement. 
• Develop a consultation process to foster communication and cooperation among the partners related to future school.
• Establish a mechanism to resolve any site servicing issues.
• Maintain Schedules “A” and “B” of the Joint Use Agreement: Land.
• Establish mechanisms for addressing demolition of school buildings as outlined in Schedule “C” of the Agreement.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Agreement on an ongoing basis and meet the principles of the Agreement. 
• Communicate updates of accomplishments and activities regularly to the Steering Committee, and submit a formal written report on an annual basis.
• Monitor and evaluate the relationship among the partners in implementing the terms of the Agreement. 

The Facilities Management Committee is responsible for the implementation of the Joint Use Agreement: Facilities. The roles and responsibilities of this committee include:

• Actively implement the Operating Guidelines.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Operating Guidelines on an ongoing basis and meet the principles of the Agreement and the needs of user groups. 
• Manage the booking and allocation processes.
• Update Schedule A: Joint Use Facilities annually.
• Recommend revisions to Schedule B: Operating Guidelines to the Steering Committee annually.
• Recommend changes to base hours for the cost model to the Steering Committee annually.
• Prepare comprehensive statistical information on the shared use of facilities to the Steering Committee on an annual basis. 
• Communicate updates of accomplishments and activities regularly to the Steering Committee, and submit a formal written report on an annual basis.
• Monitor and evaluate the relationship among the parties in implementing the terms of the Agreement.
