  • Fees are in Canadian Dollars (CAD)
  • Tuition must be paid for in full for the duration of the studies intended.
  • Only high school students can pay for a semester at a time due to being on a semester
  • System that starts and ends within 5 months.

Method of Tuition Payment

There are three methods of payment:

  1. Bank drafts, money orders, or certified cheques made payable to: Edmonton Catholic Schools. 

    Payment to be mailed with application package to:

    International Student Program

  2. Payment can be made by a representative, in person – call 780-989-3004 for appointment.

  3. International Wire Transfer: (note cannot be done within Canada)

    To be paid at a bank outside Canada, by direct deposit and transferred by wire to the following account:

    Important: If paying by wire transfer, fax a copy of the wire transfer receipt, along with the application package. ECSD is not responsible for costs for wire transfers, bank drafts, money orders or certified cheques.

Refund Policy

Refunds are issued only if the International student:

  • Is denied admission to Edmonton Catholic Schools,
  • Is not able to obtain a Study Permit, or
  • Becomes a Permanent Resident of Canada prior to September 30 of current academic year.

Request for refund must be submitted in writing and will be considered only if submitted before September 30 for the current school year.

  • No refund will be issued for late arrivals
  • No refund will be issued once a student has started school

Refund cheques are issued:

  • Only to the payee
  • In the amount of paid tuition fees less non-refundable $300 application processing fee
  • Within 2-3 weeks after written request has been approved.

Note:  We do not do direct deposit for refunds.

"I am currently a 2nd year mechanical engineering student at the University of Alberta, and I was a former student of Louis St. Laurent Catholic High School. I have made many valuable friendships with teachers, staff, and students through my two years of studying at Louis St. Laurent Catholic High School. Also, teachers, staff, and friends have helped me to establish a solid academic foundation for my current studies.
