District Strategic Leadership Council

The District Strategic Leadership Council provides strategic planning and forecasting to support Edmonton Catholic Schools’ Foundation Statement, our 21st Century Learning Statement and our statement on Katholos Education for Life for All – Defining Statement of Inclusive Education in our District.

Assistant Superintendent, Leadership Services
Assistant Superintendent, Learning Services, Enhancement

Principal Representatives – total of 6 (2 from each level – per half year)

Meeting Schedule

Weekly/Bi-weekly, or as necessary, either through on site meetings or office communicator (8-10:00 a.m. – Wednesday).

Note: Assistant Superintendents, Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel will meet weekly, following the District Strategic Leadership Council.

Expectations

That the District Strategic Leadership Council be viewed as a sounding board for initiatives, issues, concerns and celebration.
That members bring forward transformational ideas to facilitate District improvement.
That principal representatives liaise with their colleagues in a regular and timely way.
That members are comfortable in sharing different perspectives.
That members prepare for the meetings by reading information prior to the meeting.
That the matters and issues identified as confidential are treated as confidential.
